Ringing or humming in the ear is always coupled with symptoms that will lead to hearing loss. It is often called “tinnitus”. Some of the common causes of ringing or humming in the ear are:
  • Persistent exposure to loud noise in your surroundings
  • Allergies and side-effects of medicines you intake
  • Level of your thyroid is lower than normal
  • Tumor on ears or brain
  • Stress
